TEDxGainesville - GRIT - seeking applications now!

TEDxGainesville is seeking speakers and performers for the upcoming TEDxGainesville, tentatively scheduled June 5th, 2021. 

What is TEDx? In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. The event is called TEDxGainesville, where x = independently organized TED event. At the TEDxGainesville event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including the Gainesville event, are self-organized.

The mission of TEDxGainesville is to inspire courageous conversations that open minds and transform the Greater Gainesville community. The theme for 2021 TEDxGainesville is GRIT: Inspiring stories of determination, persistence and perseverance, stories about homemade grits and Girls Raised In The South, stories about sand and other gritty geological phenomenon, or any other stories about GRIT.
